The Summer Sailing Season Series runs from September through to Easter.  We welcome monohull off-the-beach dinghies and skiffs. During winter, DPSS runs a Winter Series once a month from May to August.

To sail at DPSS, you must be a club member which enables you to hold an Australia Sailing Number. Membership is renewed in September of each year. New sailors are asked to become a member after sailing three times from the club over one season. You are not required to be a member of DPSS to sail in the Winter series but you must be a current member of a club affiliated with Australian Sailing.

All boats sailing from DPSS must be registered.

‘Dolphins’ Junior training is held 8:30 – 11:30 am each Sunday morning during school term time of the sailing season, weather permitting, in Sabots. Check the Dolphins page for further information.

Racing is held from 1:30 pm each Sunday during the Summer sailing season. Those wishing to compete in the Summer Sailing Series must  be a member of DPSS. If you have your own boat, please complete a Boat Registration form and ensure your boat has a current insurance Certificate of Currency withthird party insurance of at least $5million per incident or equivalent.

Vistors from other clubs can sail three times during the current season before they must become a member of DPSS.

Race fees: Members with Sabots $5 per race day; Members with other classes of dinghies and skiffs $10; Visitors – Juniors (Sabots) $10 per race day; Visitors – other classes $15 per race day. This does not include race fees for regattas held at DPSS. Race fees are payable at the club prior to the first race of the day.
